In preparation for World NGO Day, our application, a static web page, pays tribute to some of the many organizations that are helping and comforting the victims of the recent earthquakes in Turkey and Syria. Earthquake Relief add to NGO's volunteers effort by presenting an short overview of the contribution of NGOs in daily life and leaves the user the opportunity to join those efforts through donations. Our team name represents facets of the symbol of a grasshopper: in some cultures it represents the announcement of good news or good luck. In some others it represents "the life of the party" (singing all day long while the ant is working). We expect our application to be like a grasshopper that announces donations for helping those in need and, at the same time, celebrate, recognize the good that NGOs do wherever they operate.
