Join us for Code Institute's first-ever #women-in-tech Hackathon.

Let's inspire, connect and grow Code Institute's Women in Tech community!

ALL ARE WELCOME! As with all Code Institute events, this Hackathon is inclusive, people of all genders are welcome.

STARTS: Wed, May 5th
ENDS : Monday, May 10th

Don't worry if you have limited coding experience, all levels are welcome, from absolute beginner to advanced developers.

This is a smaller Hackathon for members of the #women-in-tech group, which all are welcome to join.

Hackathon Theme:

Empower and enable Women and Girls to thrive in the world of coding

Can you come up with a solution that provides people who identify as women or girls with the confidence, tools, knowledge or support to thrive in the world of coding?

Ideas might include:
-A networking site to connect with each other
-A website for children that encourages girls to code, or teaches them basic coding skills
-A coding game or challenge focused on Women in Tech issues

What does participation involve?

- You'll be assigned to a team, and work together to build a project based on an assigned theme

-You can work according to your own schedule but participants are asked to dedicate a minimum of 4-5 hours to working on the project
